I've lived on this block for 12 years. Great street, quiet neighbors, the summer block parties are legendary. But I need to mention - that foundation crack they covered with the new porch? You should definitely ask about it. I watched them do the work and it was pretty rushed. Get an inspector who knows what they're looking for.

Lived here 2018-2022. Honestly miss it every day. The original hardwood under that carpet in the second bedroom is gorgeous - we pulled it up and refinished it. Water pressure upstairs is a little weak but nothing major. The back deck catches the sunset perfectly. Best neighbors I've ever had.

Anyone know about the school district situation here? We've got two kids starting elementary next year and I've heard mixed things about the zoning. The listing says Normal Park but I want to make sure that's accurate.

FYI this house sold for $285k in January 2023. New owners did a cosmetic flip - paint, fixtures, some landscaping. The $140k markup in less than a year is steep for Southside right now. Not saying it's not worth it, just context.

Toured yesterday. The staging is nice but check behind the furniture - saw some patched drywall that looked fresh. Kitchen appliances are basic builder grade despite the "upgraded kitchen" in the listing. That said, the natural light in the living room is incredible and the yard is bigger than it looks in photos.
